Kick Off Summer With A Bang

The first day of summer is June 20th which means it’s around the corner Don’t waste another minute, it’s time to gear up for summertime and all that comes with it. Gather the kids and start checking things off of your summer bucket list!

With Memorial Day coming up, the whole family is bound to be gathered together for the day to celebrate and cookout. The kids will be antsy so break out the lawn games to keep them entertained:

  1. Using stencils and spray paint, create yourself a big Twister board on the grass. Get all tangled up and try to keep your balance in this new twist on a classic game.
  2. Water balloons are a staple of outdoor games but what about water balloon dodgeball? Take the balloon toss to a whole new level as you leap and dodge a potential soaking!
  3. If you have some blankets that you’re not worried about getting a little stained, a blanket race is tons of fun. Choose one small rider to sit on the blanket and have the rest of the team race to pull them across the lawn as fast as they can.

For those who aren’t up for participating in the games, make sure you have somewhere comfortable to recline out of the sun. Our lawn-gliders are the perfect place to escape the heat while still having a good view of the fun and games.

Now that the weather has been heating up quite a bit, it’s also the perfect time for a delicious, icy treat. Cool off from all of your summer fun with these tasty strawberry-lemonade popsicles that are super easy to make. There’s only four ingredients in these frosty treats:

  1. Sugar
  2. Lemon juice
  3. Water
  4. Strawberries

The comfortable chairs come in solid or two-tone color options so you can personalize it to your backyard’s color scheme.
